Feral Flowers is coming to Nintendo Switch!

Miyamoto got in touch recently and mentioned the cherry blossom was doing his head in, so Feral Flowers is up for pre-order in the Nintendo eShop as of right now in Europe, America, Australia and NZ, with Asia shortly to follow. The game will be released and playable on 29th April (28th in Asia).

The Switch port was possible largely thanks to Lone Wolf Technology's generosity. We'd like to specifically shout out Lucy, who helped us test it and kept us sane whilst we made our way back into the C++ dungeons. So yeah, you'll notice Lone Wolf popping up in the intro now - if you're playing an up-to-date copy of the game. On that subject…

Taste the rainbow, feel the rainbow

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed the ridiculous amount of version bumping going on recently. This is due in part to the port, which needed a lot of tweaking to get right; along the way, though, a few new features and bugfixes have popped up that bear talking about.

  • Rumble: the Switch port absolutely necessitated this, but it should work with most joypads! If you've got one connected, you can toggle rumble on the info menu.
  • Title screen: the flowers here now finally match their in-game counterparts. This is incredibly important, shut up
  • Final boss balancing: if you reach phase 4 you'll probably notice things are a tad easier.
  • Fixed a soft-lock when quitting the game during a loading screen.
  • Fixed a bug where having more than one joypad connected meant left sticks / D-pads would stop working.

Okay we're off to get some sleep bye 【星川】
